Who You Are Working With

I’m a highly organized and efficient digital brand director with over 15 years of marketing communications and management experience. I have an MBA in marketing, extensive project management experience, and over a decade of writing experience.

My specialty is content strategy and working well with multiple teams and channels for a unified brand approach that performs. I love taking a piece of content and making it work in different ways to make it the most relevant per channel.

BA in Art History from the University of Utah

My degree in Art History has translated into a keen eye for attention and detail, extensive writing experience, and an appreciation and recognition for design and simplicity for the marketing campaigns that I direct. My MBA in marketing taught me the fundamentals of marketing, branding, ad design, and campaign management that form the basis of every campaign that I’m a part of.

Work:

I began my journey in Marketing working as the PR & Marketing Director for Repertory Dance Theater. This was an incredible experience that taught me how to design ads, websites, and playbills from scratch using Adobe’s Creative Suite. I also gained skills and experience in advertising, and marketing a brand with no budget and no time.

I moved on to be the Marketing & Web director for Salt Lake Magazine, Utah Style & Design, and Utah Bride & Groom, where I gained skills in blog direction, email marketing, creative strategy, and project management for a new website and app development with Super Top Secret Ad Agency.

Next up was Brand Management, and Content Direction for Overstock.com This experience was invaluable where I had hands-on experience learning from teams of experts at Pinterest, Google, and Facebook (now Meta). Working on award-winning digital campaigns and strategies, this e-comm environment was a fast-paced experience that translates to any business small or large.

For the last four years, I have been the Head of Marketing for Geartrade.com Utilizing all the skills from above, this was an incredible experience of working with top-notch contractors to create a successful rebrand campaign, a new website relaunch, and hands-on skills in content strategy, email marketing, affiliate marketing, blog direction, PR direction, paid and organic social direction, paid google and programmatic marketing. My marketing strategy was a content-first strategy that was highly successful with consistent growth and in just under 3 years an increase in annual revenue from 900k to just under 6 million.
